Andrew and Gareth relaxing on the roof of the first house we rented, walking distance from the beach. It was our fav hang out area after the kids went to bed.
One of the nights we went to a nearby town to get the kids ice-cream and to look around at the beach shops, little Gareth man got so much attention, the girls wouldn't leave him alone.

Left pic - We found this great taco stand with these huge freshly made on the spot tortillas, it was so reasonably priced we ate out with the kids every night.

Our vacation timing was December 29, 2008 - January 9, 2009. Andrew and I were feeling rather tired and it tired us further the thought of packing up to leave somewhere. When having our family vacation discussion the kids begged to go to the beach (their normal vacation plea).
So off we went to Manzanilla, a small beach town (we went there last vacation), but this time we would rent a house. We went with our good friends, Mark and Gia and their three kids.
