Updates

Shae (10) and Gavin (6) start 6th and 1st grade (on the 31st) at a private school, Montessori, about a 12 minute drive from our house. Its the same school as Shae went to last year, just that they now moved locations --- larger, newer, improved.

Gareth got his first hair cut this past week, I screwed up and cut the front to short, so I have an 'Audrey' on my hands. I felt like such a terrible mother, thank god he isn't old enough to know it. I keep consoling myself with the fact that it will even out in a few weeks. For now we have gel!

Gareth has started the age of the 'no's', he thinks its so funny too. I'll ask him something and the answer is 'no' with a smerk. He is 17 months.

Andrew leaves in a few days for 3 weeks to help host a camp for teenagers for 3 weeks in Mexico City. Sob, how will I survive?

Shae and Gavin's hamsters had babies again. This is the second batch, the first ones died due to our ignorance. This time around we studied books and internet info together to be prepared. They are now a week old.
