Baby Updates

We're having the baby in Mexico!
After praying about this important desicion, we both felt a peace about having the baby here in Monterrey. We did some research this week and it seems everything would work out nicely with the paperwork too. I'm happy to have my mom and sisters nearby this time around, they'll get to visit me in the hospital, and help with his care in the first few weeks.

I saw my doctor yesterday and everything seems well with the baby, I'm 29 weeks along, and he is measuring at 30 weeks old. He is in breech position, completely folded in half. Andrew told the doctor as he was showing us on the ultrasound that our baby was a 'Yoga baby'.

I have gained 3kg, which was more then the doctor was hoping for, so he again told me to cut out salt stuff. I was a little surprised as I don't feel I've gained any weight at all, in fact I feel I've lost some as I was at the beach not eating all that much, and I was quite sick when I got back and wasn't able to keep much food down. So it is all a little strange for me.
The baby now weighs a kilo and a half, and seems to be quite content in his 'playground' in my belly, bouncing around as much as he possibly can.

The hospital hunt is on.

So happy to hear that you are going to have the baby here. We are praying for you and the little one everyday and I am sure he is going to be just as adorable and lovable as Gavin.
