Recent baby updates...

I went up with Andrew to the States on Monday and Tuesday (of this week) to do some business and bring down a bunch of stuff that we had in our storage there. Yay, our big screen TV is here at last!
I was happy to get done most of my baby shopping, as this is probably the last time I'll be going up till after the baby is born. I was hoping to go up one more time to visit our friends, but its getting to hard to walk right now, I'm still having a hard time with my inner thighs, it keeps me from being able to walk for any length of time.

My list of things I've got for the baby so far include: bottle warmer, breast pads, breast shields, breast pump, bottles (both storage and drinking ones), starter set of pacifiers, diaper genie, diaper bag, newborn bath tub, baby remembrance book, swing for 0-5 months, car seat for 0-6 months etc.
I purchased a diaper genie, something I've not done with the other two. But it seemed like a good idea to me, as with the summers being so hot and long here, it seemed that keeping fresh smell in the room would be a good thing.

I'm still hoping for: Boppy pillow, baby play mat, baby bed (still not sure between wooden crib, and Pack 'n Play) and highchair.

The kids have been so great in helping me get ready. On family night they helped me organize all the 0-3 month baby clothes into our chest of drawers, Gavin helped with the bottom drawer 'organizing' the toys, his version of helping being to test and play with each one, while Shae helped with folding and putting away the spit up cloths, hats, socks and bibs.

I've now got 8 and a half weeks left!
