Andrew and I have started a little word based get together that we hope to do weekly; we are thinking Friday evening would be a good idea, it is only 15 or so minutes long. We had a sign on our door 3 days prior to give folks time to prepare the subject matter.
Our first subject was 'key quote of the week', , and then we served bubbly lemonade and chocolate kisses, while every one read they're quote or paragraph on various topics following with an explanation of how it helped them through the week or difficult day, or just what they liked about it.
The teen girls then gave us some good ideas for following Friday evening get-togethers. Will have to think of a name for this 'word based time'.
The goal of this all was is to create bonds of love between home members and to bring the Lord more into our times together with our co-workers.
